Solidarity is not just an emotion, but it is fidelity to the people in need. Therefore, after the initial emergency response, aid from the Community of Sant'Egidio in the area of East Pokot, Kenya are continuing with regular pace.

A few days ago, a further and broader distribution of clothing and food in Tangulbei, in collaboration with the parish. This time, the aid was brought in very remote places where nomadic people live, raising cattle. Though now the state of emergency lasts for several months, they had not yet received any help.

A new aid mission is being prepared meanwhile, which will start next week. The Community of Sant'Egidio renews the call for solidarity with these so exhausted people.
