A "Caravan" of Peace formed by young people
from all over the world has left for Palermo.

Many young people from all over the world have left from Rome together with the Peace People movement, heading for Palermo, to participate to the International Peace Meeting “Faiths and Cultures within conflict and dialogue”, which will take place between the 1st and 3rd of September in the Sicilian city.

The "Caravan of Peace" will make two stops with two special meetings and entertainment:

- at Matera, a city which has granted the Community of Sant’Egidio the honorary citizenship, 
on August 28th, at 9 o’clock p.m. on Sebile square, 
as guests of the City Hall and of the Argo Association – to shape Europe

- at Porto Empedocle (Agrigento), on August 30th, at 6 o’clock p.m. at Villa Belvedere, 
as guests of the Town Hall and the Acuarito Association.
