Maroua (Cameroun) - Street Children let out prison and brought back to their familes thanks to the Community of Sant'Egidio intervention.

Early November 2010, the Community of Sant'Egidio of Maroua, North Cameroun, obtained by the President of the Court the annulment of the fines, and the therefore the liberation, of some street children, underaged. They were imprisoned for begging and left in prison for months.
The Community managed to reintegrate the children into society, bringing them back to their families, living in the city of Mokolo.
