A delegation of the Community of Sant'Egidio took part in the commemoration of the Centenary of the massacre of Armenians that took place in Yerevan from 22 to 24 April 2015.Mons. Marco Gnavi, speaking at the Inter-Christian Forum, in the presence of the Catholicos Karekin II, the Syrian Orthodox patriarch Mar Ignatios Efrem, the Coptic Patriarch Tawrados, the primates and delegates of the other Churches, brought the greetings of solidarity of the Community, testifying the strength and the depth of the fraternal ties that bind it to the Armenian Apostolic Church and hoping for growth from the memory of "Metz Yegern" - the "Big Evil", aware of having to build together a peaceful future for all.
