Friday, September 10, H. E. Reinhard Marx, Archbishop of Munich, visited the Sant'Egidio Community in Rome and presided over the evening prayer in the basilica of Santa Maria in Trastevere.
The Archbishop, commenting on the Gospel of the day (Luke 6, 39 - 42) pointed out that Christians are called to a new outlook on the world, free from fear. Addressing the Community then said: "The Gospel has taught you to look at the world through the eyes of others. See and do. This has led you to follow the Master in attention to the whole world and the poorest."
