Older women's movement "Long live the elderly!" from Naples wanted to send a mimosa to all prisoner women in the Prison of Pozzuoli for International Women's Day.

The 180 inmates have received a small package, prepared with care by the elderly, with a mimosa adorned with a tricolor ribbon to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Unification of Italy. A warm greeting with a ticket from all elderly people of the Community of Sant'Egidio.

A small gesture of love and solidarity warming the hearts and continuing the chain of friendship that has long been established between the Movement and the elderly who live secluded lives.
