Solidarity Actions of the Community of Sant'Egidio are made thanks to volunteer work and are financed by collections, contributes, donations, both public and private.
Maroua- Cameroun. During this time of climate change, a strong and dry wind, called Harmattan, comes from North to this region. It brings sand from the desert, affecting people, especially those who don't have a good shelter, such as many poor elderly.
The people of Sant'Egidio Community have distributed several time to them, in the last weeks, food and clothes, raising their deep gratitude.
