The Community of Sant'Egidio turns 45 years and celebrates a liturgy of thanksgiving in the cathedral basilica of Rome,

The liturgy will be presided over by Msgr. Vincenzo Paglia, president of the Pontifical Council for the Family
There will be poor, priests of Rome and the rest of the world, bishops and cardinals, ecumenical representatives, ambassadors, representatives of institutions, communities in the world, friends to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the Community of Sant'Egidio, born in Rome in February 1968, bringing together over 60 000 members, all volunteers, in 73 countries around the world.
