 On the invitation of the Community of Sant'Egidio, many people gathered at the Mission Church in Boston to celebrate the Prayer of the Martyrs.
H.E.Sean Card O'Malley presided the service with Rev. Jeffrey Brown of the Twelfth Baptist Church, Roxbury; Rev. Laura Everett, executive director of the Massachusetts Council of Churches; Rev. Hegoumen Moses of St. Mark Coptic Orthodox Church; Metropolitan Methodios of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Boston and All New England.
Many communities of Chirstians suffering in the world welcomed the invitation, grateful for the memory and of the hope that comes from praying together.
