He is one of the responsible for the YMCA (Young Men's Christian Association).

He works for the improvement of relations between the different Christian communities of Europe. He is part of the International Council of movements and ecclesial communities involved in the cultural project "Together for Europe", aimed at strengthening the ecumenical relations between Christians and their commitment to a more human Europe.
