Lampedusa - The Bishops and the Government of Burkina Faso paying tributes to all the migrants who died at sea

On the 29th and 30th May, for the first time a delegation of the Bishops' Conference and of the Government of Burkina Faso will go to Lampedusa to remember the migrants who have died in the last few years on their travels of despair towards Europe. A ceremony will be held at the “Door of Europe” and, on the 30th May morning, a wreath of flowers will be throw into the open sea as a tribute to the victims of the shipwrecks.
