The Eco-Friendly City is a truly original market, divided in three large industrial lofts at the area of Piramide in Rome: via del Porto Fluviale No. 2. Its special feature is that all things on display - from furniture to clothes, from toys to jewelry - have been donated to the Community of Sant'Egidio.
I loft sono divisi a seconda della merce che espongono: nel primo ci sono mobili e arredamento in generale, dai tavolini agli armadi, il secondo è dedicato all'oggettistica, con giocattoli, macchine da cucire, vassoi, servizi da tè e vasi in vetro di Murano, mentre nel terzo c'è solo abbigliamento, ma di tutti i tipi, adatto a vestire tutta la famiglia, mamma, papà e bambini.
Lofts are divided according to the goods they exhibit: in the first there furniture and general interior-design equipment, from tables to the cabinets. The second one is for objects like toys, sewing machines, trays, tea sets and Murano glass vases. In the third one there are all types of clothing. suitable for the entire family. Of the many curiosities there are very well kept dolls (from Barbie to baby puppets) vinyl records, typewriters and many vintage dresses from the ‘50s to the ‘70s.
