A delegation of the Community of Sant'Egidio meets the newly elected President of the Central African Republic

A delegation from the Community of Sant'Egidio met the newly elected President of the Central African Republic, Faustin Archange Touadera, in Bangui. During the interview, on the eve of the inauguration ceremony, the President expressed his gratitude for the long work for peace in Central Africa carried out by the Community of Sant'Egidio. He underlined the fundamental importance of the visit of Pope Francis, which the Community has contributed to making possible, in the process of pacification and national reconciliation.
