UNIVERSITY OF CATANIA AND SANT’EGIDIO WILL HOST THE ONLINE EVENT “POPE FRANCIS AND IRAQ: PROSPECTS FOR A DIALOGUE BEYOND THE CURRENT DIFFICULTIES” AT 5.30 p.m.

 On Friday, April 23, specifically at 5:30 p.m, the University of Catania (Department of Political and Social Sciences) and the Community of Sant'Egidio are organizing an event that is called "Pope Francis and Iraq: prospects for a dialogue beyond the current difficulties". This will happen via Teams.
Prof. Giuseppe Vecchio, who is Dir. DSPS of the University of Catania, will introduce the event.

Prof. Andrea Riccardi, who is a historian and founder of the Community of Sant'Egidio, and H.Em. Card. Francesco Montenegro will join the online meeting after the greetings from Prof. Francesco Priolo, who is Rector of the Univ. of Studies of Catania, and Prof. Roberto Lagalla, who is the Regional Education Assistant. Moreover, Dr. Emiliano Abramo, who is the Archbishop of Agrigento, will moderate the meeting.
