O God come and save us.

Lord, come and save us, 
Lord, come soon and help us.

Lord, you listened to your people's cry in Egypt

Receive the cry of the oppressed 
and exiled people.

Come soon, help them, 
and they will be saved.

Lord, you healed the lepers 
and cured those who were brought to you.

Cure those who are sick, 
stay with those who are in need.

Come soon, help them, 
and they will be saved.

You freed the possessed; 
free those not masters of themselves.

Come soon, help them, 
and they will be saved.

You gave sight to the blind, 
strength to the paralysed.

Bring new sight to all people, 
and let them communicate.

Come soon, help them, 
and they will be saved.

You called the dead back to life, 
you brought them back to the light.

Do not allow death to reign; 
give life back to your servants.

Come soon, help them, 
and they will be saved.

You ate with the sinners,
you forgave all their sins.

Look down on us in our misery and pain,
and forgive all our sins.

Come soon, help us, 
and we will be saved

For you are a God who is good, 
the friend of humanity.
