50 refugees arrived early this morning at Fiumicino airport, from Ethiopia where they were sheltered, coming from several countries of the Horn of Africa. The Humanitarian Corridor with Ethiopia, reaching it’s third arrival today, is the result of a partnership between Community of Sant'Egidio, Italian Caritas and Gandhi Charity.
Once more, the Humanitarian Corridors are showing the beautiful face of Italy: all refugees will be welcomed by families, parishes and Italian associations, at no cost for the state, in a remarkable solidarity race.
