MODERATE OPPOSITION AGREEMENT FOR TRANSITION
Proposals will be presented tomorrow during a press conference in Rome
Tomorrow, Oct. 29, at noon in Piazza Sant'Egidio 3a (Peace Room), the proposals on the future of the country of the main platforms of the Syrian political opposition will be presented to the press, according to an agreement reached in recent days thanks to the facilitating role of the Community of Sant'Egidio.
The main points of the understanding concern the TRANSITION, the institutional set-up, and the electoral steps that should accompany it.
Representatives of the various denominations are involved and Sant'Egidio's head of international relations, Mauro Garofalo, will also be present.
