The visit of “Gli Amici” (The Friends) of the Art Labs of Sant’Egidio ended with a joyful class of painting with the children of the School of Peace in the Bronx.

The kids were filled with happiness by this incredible visit from friends from so far away. The day of course did not include only painting, but also – as the children and artists became friends – learning new languages, dancing, and singing.  It was a day of friendship between many people of different age and backgrounds, all gathered by the desire to enjoy and look at the future together. As the manifesto of “Gli Amici” says: We are not all the same, but diversity is the joy of the world!
