Living a faith that becomes social responsibility, today.
In a crucial hour, in which the challenges of disgregation, of immigration, of social justice, of defending life, of economy require shared answers and commitment, the “movements people” and of christian associations of Italy gathers to offer its specific contribution to the necessary process of social recomposition, both at the national and at the european level.
“Together for Europe” is the national date for gathering movements and christian associations next 19 and 20 September at the International Centre of Loppiano (Firenze), in the footsteps of the path with other 250 european movements od different Churches which showed off in the manifestations in Stuttgart (2004 and 2007).

With the adhesion of: Azione Cattolica, Cursillos, Sermig, Agesci, Regnum Christi, Istituzione Teresiana, Mondo Migliore, ProSanctitate, Movimento giovanile missionario, Comunità Maria, Incontro Matrimoniale, Turris Eburnea, Villa Regia, CVX, Comunità l’Emmanuele.
The italian leg of “Together for Europe” is in sinergy with tens of other similar manifestations held this year in several nations of our continent, among which France, Belgium, Northern Ireland, Hungary and Slovakia. It is the expression of a joint people walking in the light of the Gospel to renew Europe and contributing to give a soul to it, starting from our Country.
In programme - The path covered by European Movements, Associations and New Communities from 1998 till today. To follow: interventions of some of the central responsibles of movements: G. Paolo Ramonda (Comunità Papa Giovanni XXIII), Salvatore Martinez (RnS), Maria Emmaus Voce (Focolari), Marco Impagliazzo (Sant’Egidio) e Carlo e Maria Carla Volpini (Equipes Notre-Dame) on the renewing strength of the Word and on the mission to which, as christians, we are called in Italy and in Europe. Two panels will deepen with witnesses from various movements, crucial issues like “Fragility and family” or “Poverty and economy”.
