We remember the evangelical pastor Paul Schneider, who was killed by the Nazis on July 18, 1939.

His letter, written to his family from the Buchenwald camp is kept in the Basilica of St. Bartholomew, the memorial of the martyrs of the 20th and 21st centuries.
