Wednesday 16 September at 7 pm, at the house of the Community of Sant'Egidio in Milan, as it has been happening for years now during the month of Ramadan, the Community invited muslim and christian friends to live together the moment of the Iftar, the interruption of fasting.
Before the sunset there have been simultaneous prayers in the church of St. Bernardino and in the lounge of the seat.  After the prayer, gathering for dining and for celebrating together.

In the meeting have taken part Mohamed Danova (House of the Islamic Culture of Milan), Mouelhi Mohsen (Jerrahi-Haleveti brotherhood), the Young association of Muslim of Italy, Abdel Hamid Shaari (Islamic Cultural Institute of Milan), don Giampiero Alberti, in charge of the Diocese and of the town of Milan for the relations with Islam and Rav Giuseppe Laras, President of the Council of Italian Rabbis, that in the last years has joined this moment of feast.
